Magdalena TashkovaLegal and Procurement Business PartnerBefore joining EIT Climate-KIC, Magdalena provided project & events assistance to the European Environment Agency and a Copenhagen-based NGO, called IUC-Europe. She has been involved in the planning and organization of two Model European Parliament conferences on both regional and international level. She holds a Master’s degree in International Security and Law, obtained from University of Southern Denmark.
Director of IT and Digital Transformation Operations
Sanne KaasenDirector of IT and Digital Transformation OperationsBefore joining EIT Climate-KIC, Sanne worked with digitalisation and business development in both the private and public sphere. She has extensive experience with all aspects of strategic digitalisation and IT, and has led digital transformation programmes, portfolios and projects as well as enabled and improved operational deliverables within IT. Sanne has studied engineering at DTU, and business management at AAU.
Penny SchmithHR OfficerPenny is an experienced Administrator who has worked in the public, education and business sectors. Her background includes being Political Officer for Environment, Climate and Agriculture at The British Embassy in Copenhagen for ten years followed by eight years as Director for the secretariat of the British Chamber of Commerce in Denmark.
Mikkel Trym Accelerator LeadMikkel has a double master degree in Life Science, facilitation and communication. He has worked to develop entrepreneurial networks, programs and organizations at regional and international level. He shaped different businesses and implemented many project, as part of his entrepreneurial activities.
Solveig Zophoniasdottir Learning Services - OrchestratorSolveig is an experienced project manager specialised in education, facilitation and entrepreneurship. For the last 6 years, she's been involved in projects themed around educational processes, process facilitation and facilitation of learning environments. She has extensive experience teaching, coaching social and sustainability-minded startups within business development, team leadership and strategy.
Elisabeth WestermanOnline Education ManagerBefore joining Climate-KIC in 2017, Elisabeth developed courses and online learning projects as skills and training officer in the UNFCCC. She has also worked for the Danish Ministry of Agriculture, monitoring agri-environmental programmes and developing training. Her back ground is MSc Political Science – Europeanization, environmental policy and international development.
Piret Liv Stern DahlStrategic Developer - Learning Technologies PortfolioPiret has experience with running projects and organizing conferences within education, energy, sustainability and urban greening. She is focusing on project portfolio management to ensure process and finance tracking, collaboration and delivery across all Climate-KIC online education projects.
Lea KnudsenLearning DeveloperBefore joining EIT Climate-KIC, Lea achieved a Master’s degree in Sustainable Design from Aalborg University, where she focused on sustainability in practice and local social empowerment. She also holds a BSc in Environmental Planning from Roskilde University. Lea is working with a Design Thinking mindset and has experience with running projects and organizing workshops and design processes within sustainable development, green transition and behaviour change.
Bjarke KovshøjStrategic Programmes OrchestratorBjarke is a co-creator with several years of experience with turning climate action into tangible solutions. Before joining EIT Climate-KIC, Bjarke worked at CLEAN where he developed and managed public-private projects aimed at developing climate solutions for cities. Bjarke is responsible for city engagement and the further development of the global Climathons.
Pernille Martiny ModvigTeams Orchestrator Deep DemonstrationsBefore joining Climate-KIC, Pernille worked with sustainable farming methods and communications within the farming sector. Previously, she was a founding partner of Creature ApS, a consultancy facilitating collaborative social innovations with clients from all sectors.
Anders Vestergaard Jensen Project Fitting and Team Resource PlannerAnders has a Ph.D. in sustainable transport planning from the Technical University of Denmark. Following the research period, he joined the Danish think tank Sustainia, where he worked closely together with UN Global Compact on turning global risks into business opportunities. At Climate-KIC he is managing the Nordic project on increasing the use of Wood in Construction.
Marco Carreira Silva Innovation Portfolio OrchestratorMarco managed international projects for leadership development in AIESEC. As co-founder in Mozambique, he delivered projects in cooperation with NGOs, such as CARE International, universities & companies. Additionally, Marco’s entrepreneurial endeavours account for a start-up on climate adaptation consultancy. Prior to joining Climate-KIC, he concluded a MSc. in User-centred Innovation and a MSc. in Climate Change.
Jakob StoltSenior Project Manager Educated in and working with partnerships, innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership for many years, particularly in a network, development and educational perspective. Have experiences and track records for value-added network structures and network management, as well as generating lasting cultural changes and paradigm shifts in organizational relationships with relevant partners.
